Dear Readers,

After six wonderful years, my Robert Pimm website,, is getting an upgrade.  From mid-September 2020 you will see a new look with, I hope, easier navigation, more pictures, and an all-round improved experience.

The upgrade is being done by the terrific team at – if you want your website upgrading, I can recommend them!

I am grateful to everyone who reads, comments on and shares posts on my Robert Pimm website.  It is an honour to have you here, and I am keen to bring with me to the new site as many of you as possible.  Here is what you have to do:

(i) if you receive an email each time you receive one of these blogs, you need do nothing.  I have your e-mail and have added it to a mailing list for when I publish a new post.  This should happen every week;

(ii) if you have this website saved or bookmarked ( or you’re fine.  Those web addresses should continue to work;

(iii) if you are one of the 385 followers of the Robert Pimm website on WordPress, I don’t necessarily know your e-mail.  So if you would like to continue to be notified when I publish a new post, please sign up for my weekly newsletter (you can unsubscribe anytime you wish).

Actually, feel free to sign up for my weekly newsletter anyhow, if you’re not getting it already.  It’s good fun.
